Requirements

  • WordPress 6.7 or higher

  • bbPress plugin installed and activated

Installation

Install from within WordPress

  1. Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress dashboard and click Add New.
  2. Upload the plugin zip file or search for “bbPress FSE Support” if available.
  3. Click Install Now and then Activate.

Install manually

  1. Download the plugin zip file.
  2. Unzip and upload the a8csp-bbpress-fse-support folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu in WordPress.

Usage

No setup is required. Once activated, your bbPress forums will automatically use block-based templates if your theme supports Full Site Editing. All forum, topic, and reply pages will be rendered using the appropriate block template parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this plugin work with any theme?

This plugin is designed for use with block themes that support Full Site Editing. It may not have any effect on classic (PHP template) themes.

Do I need to configure anything?

No configuration is needed. The plugin works automatically once activated.

Can I customize the forum layout?

You can customize your site’s header, footer, and other template parts using the Site Editor. bbPress content will appear within the main content area.

Is this plugin compatible with BuddyPress?
