The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is a member-supported organization dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since its launch in 2003, IxDA has grown into a global network of more than 150,000 individuals, focusing on interaction design issues for the practitioner, no matter their level of experience.
Our team worked with IxDA to modernize their WordPress website from its hard-coded classic theme to a custom block theme. The new design brings a greater emphasis to the global community through a custom group management system with interactive, live search. We also created a custom video library to showcase IxDA’s extensive video catalog, added WooCommerce with our custom donation block to facilitate member donations, and elevated its audience engagement with Jetpack Newsletters.
